2014/06/08 :: Lenbachhaus, Munich

Spent the hot summer day in the cool air of Museum Lenbachhaus in Munich. Joseph Beuys always is a favorite although I can never tell why. Rupprecht Geiger, of course, with his impressive colors. They could show some more pieces of his, I would say… Erwin Wurms sculptures in the hall are nice and the architecture of the recently renovated building still blows me away as soon as I enter. Met some more favorites of mine by strolling through the rooms. A nice lunch break at ELLA’s and we could continue seeing the exhibit ‚PLAYTIME‘ at Kunstbau (belonging to Lenbachhaus). Gosh, Dan Perjovschi is doing sharp, pointing, thoughtfull drawings on the wall again. A pitty we were not alowed to take more pictures there. But there should be the ‚cataloge‘ of it availabe for free download on the website of the Museum (www.lenbachhaus.de)
